The department of commerce also provides a wide platform for extracurricular activities as well as activities for students’ personality development. The department is keen in providing better academic resources along with practical academics like conducting Industrial Visit and organising various fests and workshops.

 ‘I never worry about action only inaction’ (Winston Churchill) in today’s Commerce, Business and Management field tremendous changes are taking place. In order to keep up with the pace of changes Christ College, Kattapana is trying to run very fast on the right track. “Even if you are on the right track you will run out if you just sit there.”(Will Roger) So we have no time to sit and rest since we need to reach the destination.

F&T – Gives special emphasis to matters related to finance and taxation. This course offers wide scope in the present day merchandise. One of the biggest taxation reforms in India- goods and Service Tax is integrating state economies and boosting the overall growth of Indian economy.
